Behaviour Policy Consultation
As a Catholic school, our mission is to support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all of our pupils, rooted in the wisdom and teaching of the Church. The Church teaches us that this is very much a partnership with parents, in which parents are the ‘first educators’ of their children on these matters; ultimately, you confer on us the right to co-educate your children with you.
Following the outcomes of our pupil, parent and staff surveys we have consulted with the Trust to develop a new Behaviour Policy. This Policy and the procedures that support it, will help us to ensure that your children are free to learn and grow in a positive and harmonious environment.
Our behaviour and choices are a key part of life. The ability to meet expectations, be polite and regulate our emotions are skills that are essential for a successful future. This Policy has been written with supportive principles and a clear route for escalation, where misbehaviour impacts on the safety or learning of others. It is also linked to our Uniform Policy, which is available on the school website.
Please complete our questionnaire by 12:00pm on Monday 18th December, which will enable you to book a place at our Parent and Carer Information Meeting on Monday 18th December at 3:30pm.

Following this meeting, the Senior Team and Governors will complete a final review of the Policy and procedures in preparation for Monday 8th January, when this will become active.
We hope that our approach not only assures you that we take the safety and happiness of your children seriously but that we also welcome your support and input.
